With their mission clearer than ever, the group of law enforcement professionals and PBK formed the Texas School Safety and Security Council in 2018. By combining their architectural expertise with research into past school shootings, the group has formed strategies for improved school safety and security.

Many of the practices are currently being used in Cy-Fair ISD schools, including 67 on-campus police call stations district-wide, and more are underway after the approval of the 2019 bond.
