The renovation centered on reshaping the stadium to meet the needs of Division I football while preserving the intimate atmosphere that made the venue successful. The installation of synthetic turf expanded the stadium’s flexibility, allowing it to accommodate football, special events, university programming, and community gatherings throughout the year.
