A Dynamic Hub for Learning, Innovation, and Community at The Grove
Snellville Branch Library is part of a new major mixed-use project that will occupy 18 acres in the heart of downtown Snellville near City Hall. ‘The Grove at Towne Center’ will feature retail, office, entertainment and residential uses. The new library, in one of the anchor buildings, will be the new Gwinnett County Public Library that will occupy the ground floor of a new 45,000 sf building and includes a second-floor business development and accelerator space. The library features an open, flexible floor plan that will welcome patrons from all over the Atlanta region. A flexible meeting room space, a maker’s space lab, audio video makers lab, dedicated children’s area, and teen space will come together to create a community space that will pay homage to Snellville’s history. Collaborative spaces and rooms include various sizes of group study and conference areas that offer the latest technology available to the public. Comfortable, flexible furnishings and community computer tables will engage patrons to converse, collaborate, and learn. Additionally, the Library and building will be seeking LEED Certification as part of the USGBC.
