The Merced City School District STEAM Center will be the first of its kind for the District. Designed as a District-wide facility, the STEAM Center features three large lab type classrooms separated by folding wall systems. Two collaboration rooms open up to the lab rooms creating small teaching spaces or quiet conference areas. The facility is designed with flexibility to house 120 students at any given time. The STEAM Center will not only be used to teach sciences, technology, engineering, art & math, but will also be used for community meetings, after-school programs, and District Board Meetings.
