Working as a part of the International Project Management Consulting team (IPMC), PBK provided Owner’s Representative services including monitoring, quality control and evaluation consultancy related to the design and construction, as well as the provision of products and services for all phases of this enormous Health campus project.

The Basaksehir Istanbul Integrated Health Campus is a comprehensive regional medical facility providing medical care for a wide range of services on the outskirts of Istanbul in the Republic of Turkey. The facility is a part of a major healthcare improvement program being developed through the Public Private Partnership Model as directed by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey and includes over 7,766,00 SF of total area.  The facility includes a six-hospital specialty medical cluster comprising 6,661,000 SF of area providing a 400 Bed General Hospital, a 300 Bed Women’s Hospital, a 250 Bed Children’s Hospital, a 250 Bed Orthopedic/Neurological Hospital, a 150 Bed Oncology Hospital, and a 150 Bed Cardiovascular Hospital each with a distinct identity and dedicated entrance. The medical cluster includes a comprehensive Emergency Medicine Center along with full Diagnostic and treatment Services for the full-service nature of these diverse medical specialties. Outpatient clinic facilities for each specialty is provided in close proximity to each specialty and a major underground parking structure is included to provide convenient access for patients and visitors. A perimeter vehicular circulation loop is provided to allow direct access to each medical specialty. The medical cluster includes full services for Imaging, Surgery, Laboratory, Pharmacy, and all associated needs for a comprehensive medical campus.
