The 310,000 square foot expansion, which includes 90,000 SF of renovation, for The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida will increase the number of dedicated beds from 98 to approximately 160 and provide room for a 20-bed pediatric emergency department. The seven-story tower will provide new and expanded specialty pediatric health care services to children from Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties. In addition, a 1,250-space parking garage will create abundant available parking. Harvard Jolly is the architect of record for the entire expansion, with FKP Architects serving as pediatric design consultant for the tower addition.
