F9 Gamma Camera Renovations

Located in the Fondren-Brown Building at the The Texas Medical Center, this Gamma Camera project provided significant upgrades for two units. The focus included the upgrade of the spaces for new technologies within the existing infrastructure; however, it targeted improving the patient experience in the “Platinum Patient Experience” framework of the Houston Methodist Hospital System. The project introduced efficient flows and improved support areas, as well as bringing in warm interior finishes and positive patient distractions of colorful rope lighting and audio/video entertainment systems to reduce patient stress and provide an enjoyable procedure experience.
