Lamar CISD’s newest high school is dedicated to the district’s former Superintendence Dr. Thomas E. Randle for his contributions to the district in helping achieve top academic and extracurricular activities. Since Dr. Randle joined as Superintendent, the district has expanded its facilities and more than doubled its student enrollment. Dr. Thomas Randle High School holds a capacity of 2,000 students and is comprised of regular classrooms, a gymnasium, science labs, food service, administration spaces and ancillary support areas. The high school shares the 120-acre site with LCISD’s newest junior school. The athletic fields, stadium, and the 32,450 sq. ft. field house are utilized by both the junior high and high school for track and field, football, baseball, softball and other associated field events.
