In partnership with Dekker/Perich/Sabatini and G2 Solutions, PBK is designing the First Responders Academy at Amarillo College. This project entails the existing JC Penney Building at Sunset Center will undergo a complete facility renovation and will serve as the new home for the First Responders Academy. The renovated facility’s first floor will include classrooms, administrative offices, training rooms, restrooms/locker rooms, and truck garages on the first floor. The training facility will be a be a joint training facility for all AC’s Emergency Response programs, which include Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement training, Fire Academy, Fire Department training, and EMT Training.
