The Alliance Academy for Innovation of Cumming-Forsyth County opened in the 2018-2019 school year with only 9th and 10th grade students. Because there were not many student drivers, a gravel parking lot met the school’s needs for the first year. The following year, however, the school year began with a new three-story precast concrete parking deck with brick spandrel panels. In a school, safety is important. This design includes closed circuit television security monitoring throughout, a glass elevator and open stairwells for visibility and supervision, emergency lighting, and phone boxes for emergency calls.
