A. Mario Loiederman Middle School is the Creative and Performing Arts magnet school for the Downcounty cluster in Montgomery County Maryland. The new Performing Arts addition will provide a flexible 425-seat performance space for theater, dance, chorale, and instrumental music.

Creative and Performing Arts Magnet School
The main performance space can flex into four individual classrooms using operable partitions and retractable theater seating. It has the flexibility of a black box theater but the finishes, theatrical lighting, sound, audio-visual and acoustic control of a performing arts center. Backstage spaces include dressing rooms, set construction space, box office and storage. The entrance and lobby incorporate organic lines, color, biophilic design, student art, and celebrates the ethnic diversity of the school.
