Todd Olson, AIA, Associate DBIA, is an Associate Principal and Senior Project Manager at PBK, where he leads higher education projects with a collaborative, detail-focused approach rooted in clarity, accountability, and value-based decision making. With a career that began in 1984, Todd brings deep experience in planning, programming, design, and project management across complex academic and healthcare environments.

At PBK, Todd is responsible for guiding projects of all scales and delivery methodologies, including master planning, feasibility studies, laboratory and healthcare spaces, and specialty learning environments. He works closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to align diverse stakeholder perspectives while maintaining transparency throughout the design process—particularly around schedule, budget, and project goals.

Todd has extensive experience delivering renovation and modernization projects for higher education institutions, including long-standing work with the University of Washington and Pacific Lutheran University. Representative projects include the University of Washington School of Nursing Simulation Center and Learning Commons & Engineering Renovation, as well as Pacific Lutheran University’s School of Nursing Clinical Learning & Simulation Center and Rieke Science Center Physics and Chemistry Renovation.
