Suzanne Sasaki-Hartstein
Suzanne Sasaki-Hartstein is an education-focused interior designer with more than 20 years of experience supporting K-12 projects throughout California. She collaborates closely with school districts and project teams to develop interior concepts that enhance student learning, support educator needs, and create welcoming, high-performing environments. Her experience spans all phases of design and construction, including community outreach, material standards, specifications, FF&E coordination, and regulatory compliance.
Known for her thoughtful, user-centered approach, Suzanne brings a strong level of oversight and coordination to complex educational projects, ensuring interior environments are both functional and inspiring. She is driven by the belief that well-designed spaces can positively impact student outcomes and strives to create innovative, inclusive environments that foster engagement, connection, and learning for all.
Suzanne’s portfolio includes new construction, modernization, and campus replacement projects for districts across California, including Chico Unified School District, Folsom Cordova Unified School District, Manteca Unified School District, and Roseville Joint Union High School District. She is a certified interior designer in the state of California, NCIDQ certified, and an active member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the California Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH).
