Nicole M. Jordan

Nicole is one of the leaders of PBK’s Houston Design Studio. Since entering the industry in 2014, she has worked in a multitude of sectors, including civic, workplace, and aviation work. Though all those sectors allowed her to create meaningful environments for people, her true passion for impacting others aligned when she started educational work. 

As a believer that good design should be equitable, working in the K-12 education sector allows Nicole to create those opportunities for school students across Texas. With a focus on wellness, safety, and the understanding that all individuals learn in different ways, she creates spaces that are unique and flexible for teachers, students, and the communities they serve. With an ethos based on listening first, Nicole leads collaboratives that guide the End User through the design process. Focusing on innovative approaches to learning and how the built environment can be a backdrop to educational success. 

Nicole’s passion for others’ success continues through her acts of mentorship. As a licensed Architect and Interior Designer, she is committed to the legacy of the profession and constantly advocates for others within her firm and throughout Houston. Nicole has been personally impacted by her mentors and has a strong desire to create opportunities for others in her industry. 

Nicole’s problem-solving abilities mixed with her passion for helping others have led to personalized architectural environments that continue to stimulate and create space for personal development.
