Michael Houy

As a Client Executive with expertise in secondary campuses, Michael has extensive experience in all aspects of a project including long-range planning, programming, project management, schematic design, design development, preparation of contract documents, and construction administration. Since entering the industry in 2014, Michael has successfully managed dozens of projects, ranging from security vestibule additions to complex multi-facility campus developments. 

He embodies a client-focused, consensus-built approach to problem solving, leveraging other experts in the field to creatively solve complex projects with simple, cost-effective solutions. Michael is passionate about service through mentorship and creating outstanding learning environments where students can thrive and meet their potential. 

Michael holds degrees from the University of Houston and Rice University, is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and is a Registered Architect in the State of Texas.
