John Hansen

With expertise in the performing arts, historic preservation and sustainable design, John is a leader in all facets of architectural practice, including master planning, firm management, project design, and construction administration. John’s project experience includes cultural arts, higher education, government/civic, corporate, and ministry projects.

John is engaged in strategic planning, business development, firm structure and governance, fiscal management, and sustainability. He leads business development and design work in the performing arts and government/civic sectors and participates in related leadership and conference events. He is also immersed in the professional community, with local, state, regional, and national leadership roles in the U.S. Green Building Council and the American Institute of Architects. John’s passion for working with community non-profit organizations includes leading and assisting with disaster preparedness and relief, community improvement, and meeting social needs.
