Northwestern’s new football stadium is a wonder. It’ll be gone in two years.

Sean Plunkett, Principal in PBK’s sports division, is featured in a Washington Post article exploring trends in collegiate sports venue design and the shift toward more intimate, experience-driven stadium sizes. 

“Venue sizes, if they do shrink, are shrinking because of experiential requirements. Depending on where you are in the country, areas that have competing interests for fan attendance, the need for some of this variation of experience is higher and the need for seating counts may be lower.”
